WE WERE HAPPY TO WELCOME ROADMIX TANZANIA TO THE BORUM FACTORY IN THE BEGINNING OF AUGUST TO PRESENT THEIR NEW BORUM EQUIPMENT.
Roadmix is constantly growing within Tanzania and due to the incoming road marking projects, they needed to expand their fleet. Therefore, Roadmix has decided to purchase our largest self-propelled machine, a new BM 5000 T, for thermoplastic extrusion together with twin BM D-1000 thermoplastic preheaters.
During a 3 day visit at the Borum HQ we provided the new Borum machine owner with insights of his BM 5000 T as well as on-site demos of the machine.
The machine and equipment are needed for immediate use on the road with 5+ road marking projects waiting for its arrival. In some cases, the losses from delaying road marking projects can end up being rather costly. Therefore, air freight becomes a practical solution despite the considerable price difference when compared to sea freight. This is also the case for Roadmix Tanzania and as a result, the machine and equipment are sent to Tanzania by air freight.
This makes us rethink the figure of speech "When pigs fly". It seems nowadays "When machines fly" is more appropriate 😊.
