How it works

Data from the machine is gathered by the machine's control unit, the LineMaster computer, and then stored on the Borum Server. This data is made available to our customers via the BM Online web platform, which you can access with your PC, laptop, tablet or phone.

Borum can also access the diagnostic data, which allows us to better understand your needs. Therefore, we can offer improved support and more efficient solutions, as for e.g. by foreseeing the need for spare parts, which will improve delivery time.

FIND YOU SPARE PARTS AND USER MANUALS DIRECTLY ONLINE

You don't need to search for your manuals in the office anymore or look for spare part lists in different places.

A digital version of all relevant spare part lists and user manuals for your machine(s) will now be available on your BM Online account. SEE HOW TO FIND YOUR SPARE PARTS AND USER MANUALS DIRECTLY ONLINE.

PREVENT BREAKDOWNS AND PLAN SERVICE SCHEDULES

Now that you can get easy online access to your machine's data as for e.g. status of engine, compressor, and hydraulics, you can follow its activity more closely and prevent potential issues from occurring. You can SEE FULL A LIST OF ITEMS YOU CAN FOLLOW ONLINE HERE.


Furthermore, in the near future, we will make available a new feature where you can opt to receive SMS or e-mail notifications if the engine, the compressor or the hydraulic oil is overheating or 20 hours before the next service. Therefore, it will also make planning service schedule easier.

YIT Danmark is the Danish branch of YIT, the international road construction group. YIT Danmark's main activities are connected to asphalt application and road marking on Danish roads.

YIT Danmark acquired their first Borum machine in 2013 and since then they have increased their fleet with two more Borum machines for thermoplastic extrusion.

Do you need data to generate reports and invoices?

All the information available on the BM Online platform can be exported in various formats with the push of a button. You can customize the reports as much as needed based on the information you need .

A few examples of data you can find and export are: material usage, material temperature, engine, compressor, hydraulics, and others (SEE FULL LIST HERE) as well as the location of the machine (When Ignition is On).

Available report formats: CSV file (Excel), PDF file or KLM file (Google Earth)

Have you deleted information from your LineMaster computer? No worries, we have you covered. 

All information is saved on the Borum Server for minimum 5 years. So even if you delete this data from your LineMaster computer, we will have a copy for you safely stored.

In short, the BM Online can help you with:

  • Making data from the BM LineMaster computer available online
  • Viewing data on material usage, material temperature, engine, compressor, hydraulics, and others (SEE FULL LIST HERE) as well as the location of the machine (When Ignition is On)
  • Keeping track of the machine's conditions to prevent breakdown
  • Planning service schedules
  • Receiving SMS or e-mail or notifications if the engine, the compressor or the hydraulic oil is overheating or 20 hours before the next service
  • Generating customized reports with the information you need
    Available report formats: CSV file (Excel), PDF file or KLM file (Google Earth)
  • Avoiding data loss. All information is saved on the Server for minimum 5 years even if it is gets deleted from the LineMaster computer
  • Receiving quick support from Borum

 

 

Nb! Only machines equipped with the Master Control can send this data to the LineMaster (machines from 2015 and upwards). 
For machines older than 2015 can also use a limited version of the BM online.
LineMasters from Serial no: 73-xxxx supports BM Online. It is possible to update LineMasters with Serial no: 72-xxxx to BM Online Report.
