How to make different types of Lines with Borum equipment for 2-component material
The 2-component material is an excellent choice for guaranteeing long-lasting line markings in high-traffic areas. With 2-component material, you get a wear-resistant road marking with great durability, visibility and low dirt pick up.
Borum can provide you with various 2-component application equipment that can execute both flat and profiled markings, depending on your need. As a result, these types of equipment are capable of meeting the requirements of any kind of surface or road.

Agglomerate equipment for 2-component
LINE TYPES: SINGLE LINES, PROFILED AGGLOMERATE MARKINGS
The agglomerate equipment consists of a needle roller, which is mounted under the 2-component extruder with flex shutters.
The width of the agglomerate line is defined by the size of the extruder.
Recommended paint viscosity > 8000 cp.

Dot equipment for 2-component (98:2)
LINE TYPES: SINGLE LINES, PROFILED DOT LINES
The Dot equipment consists of a basic unit with 6 dots in a row. It is possible to add additional rows one by one until you obtain the wanted line width.
Line thickness for the dots is usually around 3-4mm. Number of dots per meter (length-wise) is set in the LineMaster computer.
Recommended material viscosity > 8500 cp.

Extruder for 2-component (98:2)
LINE TYPES: SINGLE LINES, FLAT OR PROFILED (LONG FLEX / RIBS)
The 2-component extruder is mounted on a sliding retainer frame, that can be used for all Borum 2-component low-pressure equipment. Each specific line width requires its specific extruder head. Available sizes are 10, 12, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 25, 30 cm.
Recommended paint viscosity:
• Extruded flat lines > 6500 cp.
• Ribs > 8500 cp.

Atomizing air spray
LINE TYPES: SINGLE OR DOUBLE LINES, FLAT LINES
You can apply line widths of up to 20cm with one gun depending on work conditions such as application speed and requested layer thickness.
The machine can be supplied with one or two paint guns.
